Anyone ever heard of them?

Any opinions/experiences?

Thanks,

J

Yeah, great holster, never tried the mag pouches though. I have one now as a backup and the wife uses it sometimes. I do like my RM a little better but this is my next favorite holster. Since they are made in Europe, they are a little harder to come by and not distributed here as much.

Made in Brazil.

And I do have the pouches and holster. Excellent products.

Met the man and his business partner during IPSC World Shoot Greece.

They stand by their product. If something's is broke, email them and they will make it right.

I use the holster and mag pouches. Very well built products with lots of adjustability. I prefer them over my Limcat holster and CR Speed pouches.

can I ask you guys what you do/dont like about them? I've been in an email conversation with them, and one thing I did like was they asked me to measure my trigger guard so they could cut an EXACT match for my gun. Just trying to figure it out since the price is a little steep compared to others on the market. Not to mention I already have a RM.

Yep, Brazil, sorry for that...I was thinking of the RM but writing about the GR

If You already have a Race Master I don't see any point in switching to GR. Never had a chance trying DAA but they look very similar in build.

My son and I have talked and he feels he's ready to move up from the production div to Lim or Open. The way I'm looking at this....I'm buying a new holster very soon regardless of what I do. Thats the reason for the shopping around, not because I personally want a change. Hope that clears up the reasoning....... <_<

Getting parts for DAA products is easier.

I only use Ribas products since thats all I've been using since I started shooting 2011's.

As for parts, I go down to Brazil once a year for work and figured while I'm down there I'll have him ship the parts to my hotel.

Update- I just got an email from Luciana at Guga Ribas and she has sent a holster and 4 mag pouches for me to test out. If I don like them, send them back at no cost to me. If I like them....buy them.

... I wonder if I should post a review of the stuff after some time with it.....

I would. You never know, someone may be searching around for suggestions for holsters and come across your review. It's always a good idea to share our experiences here, good or bad...

Well I spent about an hour adjusting and playing around it. Seems to be quite fast. when you apply the lock it will not come out of the holster, rock solid. can't wait to try it at the next match.
