MHicks
We shot a classifier stage at our ICORE match today. Shots limited. 4 rounds per target total. We had a couple of shooters fire an extra shot, and both hit the target. The scoresheet has spaces for extra shot, extra hit and procedural. Do all come into play? If a person fires an extra shot but does not hit the target, they are penalized less than if they actually hit the target? Also, would they get a procedural on top of it or is the procedural box there for other procedural possibilities? thanks, Mark
AzShooter
Procedure, extra shot amd extra hit if there is a hit on paper. No extra hit if it is a Mike. That's one of those gotcha penalties and the high cap revos get stuck with it occationally.
Bubber
Mhicks, they will get a penalty for each extra shot and each extra hit. If that is all they did. Proceedurals are for other actions they may have done, as shooting strong instead of weak or out of the shooting area and such. Which classifier was it. later rdd
MHicks
The classifier was CS-028 In a Bad Spot. That's all they did. Extra shot and extra hit. We also shot CS-023. I had a question on it but found the answer on the score sheet. We had a couple of shooters stand and shoot instead of the mandatory prone position. It says right on the score sheet, Failure to go prone incurs a single procedural. Some thought it would be one procedural per shot fired. thanks, Mark. Carmoney
For better or worse, ICORE scoring is extremely unforgiving of relatively minor procedural mistakes. Edited March 13, 2012 by Carmoney
