hax Posted March 10, 2012 Share Posted March 10, 2012 (edited) I am having a delima on which mag to purchase. I have a limited and an open top end 2011 gun on order and tying to procure mags. The grip is an SVI metal grip. What should I choose? Does the SNL from Dawson even make the tape? markcic Posted March 10, 2012 Share Posted March 10, 2012 On my 9 open gun I have all SVI mags. One 170 has Grams springs, followers, and base pad and everything else has Bolen springs and followers and Dawson base pads. Everything runs 100% with no tuning. I have one 170 tuned by Glenn Higdon that I can get 30 in with Bolen guts. The issue with the factory SVI mags in their base pads are a pain to take off to clean the mags.
