centralworks
I recently purchased a very nice (under 500 round count) SV Infinity pistol that came with a .45 bull barrel and a .40 bushing barrel. I have no interested in shooting .45 and was wondering if I am cazy to sell off this barrel and mags since they have already been fitted to this gun. I would appreciate your advice. shootingchef
keep it, they don't mate well with other guns, these are custom made. you might have to sell it one day and this helps the value.

ChrisMcCracken
I didn't know you could fit both a bull and a bushing barrel to the same gun. Can anyone expound on this?

Can anyone expound on this? you can do both. the bushing cut is likely already in the current slide. take your bull barrel gun and look to see that the bushing notch is already cut into the slide. steviesterno
usually if a manufacturer doesn't trust their work or makes crappy stuff, they will include 2 barrels for when one wears out, explodes and dies. Please mail it to me and I will replace the whole gun with a slightly used M&P, which only has one barrel. Please include $7 for shipping, too. I know it's not the original warranty, but i offer this service to all shooters, all the time to keep them safe and happy
shootingchef
A great idea that Sandy Strayer built these guns to be interchangeable. I have to 2 SV's that have two different barrels each. first is my IDPA stainless 5 inch with a bushing 9 barrel and a 40 bull barrel for USPSA. yes you change out the breachface and the extractor. second is my open gun, 38 supercomp and a 9mm sighttracker barrel, which I use for steel and 3-gun. Same grip, same sight picture, same mags!
centralworks
I like the gun a lot but there is no way I am going to shoot .45. I was hoping that the barrel was useful to others so I could sell it and get other accessories. Currently I still need to get more .40 mags before I can switch over from my (two barrel) M&P pro (sorry dude, I do not have need for another M&P ) Edited March 8, 2012 by centralworks

How many .45 mags do you have, what size, and are they tuned at all? I may be interested in those if they'll fit a Tactical!

I've been looking to trade out my Rohm RG-10 for an M&P. I feel bad though. Can I include $10.00 for shipping?
centralworks
I only have one .45 mag and since the general consensus is that I keep the barrel with the gun I might as well keep the tuned mag with the gun.
