Bill M
I have an EDGE that was hard chromed, but due to poor storage, it is now rusted. The rust is not terrible, but I'd like to have it refinished. 1) Is is feasible? 2) Any suggestions on a good shop to do the work? Thank you,
Heckler
I had a cobalt finish on my edge that was not aging well. Sent it to Matt Cheely and he stripped it then hot blued it. Looks great!
Marshal82
My 1911 that was nickel plated is scratched and wore I'm sending it to WMD Guns for a Nickel boron finish. I have the Nib-X on my Glocks and it's the best finish I've ever dealt with.

Thank you, Any reputable gun finisher can strip the old hard chrome off and refinish it however you want it. Here are 3 that I've used with good results. 40S&W
If the storage was that bad to ruin a hard chome finish then most likely you also have problems with internal parts.
