Hilo Willy
Is there a replacement motor for the case feeder that has a bit more torque than the stock? I'm not overloading the bin but the unit is having a hard time moving say 70-80 9mm cases. I end up giving it help which means that it becomes a manual spin case feeder. I ask about another motor as I haven't called Dillon and their electric parts don't have the lifetime warranty. I will give their customer service a call (first rate--been loading on Dillon gear since the 80's) but thought one of you folks may have an alternative. mizer67
I can load 300+ cases without any bogging down. Is the plate down competely in its recess?
jmorris
are you sure it's the motor or do you just not have the clutch tight enough? When plate stalls does the little black center plate still turn? If it does snug the bolts down, just enough to make the plate turn. It's designed to slip so you don't burn the motor up if/when something jams the plate. Cotys
I can load 300+ .223 brass and it doesn't have a problem. I have loaded enough to bog it down once, I poured a new bin in while loading primers and powder and getting prepped. I had more still in the hopper than I thought. I probably had 500 .223 brass in there. I took about half out and went right back to it.

Hilo Willy
I should have checked the 'clutch' before posting. The central metal disks were very loose. Tightened them a wah la--works like a charm. Thanks for the responses. Willy
colt
I thought I burned my low side up 10 years ago because it so noisy and I just bought a 2nd 650 last week and that case feeder makes the same noise in low. I guess it is suppose to make it. I did figure one thing out. Whats better than a 650? 2 of them!!! Brent

I prefer running mine on high speed anyways.
wes777
I am going to have to try this. I can only load 200-300 9mm cases at a time or it bogs down on me
