HRider
I am in the market for a new scope mount. I tried searching for "Larue VFZ mount", but only found one reference to the VFZ mount. I know that most people go with the QD, but I don't plan on swapping scopes around, and if I could save an unneeded ounce or two, is there a reason not to go with the VFZ? suesstech
I would say to go for it. I bought the VFZ spr-e for the same reasons you are considering. The mount has been on the rifle for two years and I haven't removed it once. The little wrench comes with it. It would take less than a minute to remove if ever needed. I removed it at first to adjust it.
