Babaganoosh
Going to do the caek and the forward set sear and trigger kit. Going to get one kit at a time. One with each paycheck. Any opinions as to which I should get first? Does it matter? Any point in getting the ram or does all this outweigh the benefits of the ram? CHA-LEE
Why would you get a CAEK and then a Forward Set Sear Trigger Kit? That would be a big waste of money because a lot of the $$$ you are paying for in those kits are the Sear and Striker Block which both kits have. If you want to get the forward set trigger kit just save your money and get that kit, a competition striker spring and RAM. Those three things combined will make for a really nice trigger. If you don't want the forward set trigger then get the CAEK and the RAM. I would suggest getting all of the parts then do the trigger job with all of the parts. You will waste a lot of time trying to piece it together one part at a time. Edited March 2, 2012 by CHA-LEE

I figure get both and then put the sear and striker block up on the classifieds for someone who needs/wants it.
XRe
You're planning on shooting Limited with it, right? The FSS trigger isn't legal in Production at this point (though if Apex is able to get S&W to offer it as a factory option... it might be later...) Babaganoosh
Yup limited. I've got a gun for production.
XRe
Then I agree with CHA-LEE, just buy what you need Get the FSS kit, the Competition spring kit, and the RAM. No extra parts, that way, and you have the set of stuff you need across the board. The FSS kit is the big chunk - the other two are a total of about $60. Buy the FSS on one paycheck, the other two the next. Or, save up, and order them all together to save on shipping...
