lcs
Anybody use it? what is it compared to burn rate and use? Yes, compare it to Vit 320 for loads. Works great in 40 for major with a 180/185gr. Edited February 29, 2012 by lcs
sargenv
I always used it for 40 cal minor revolver loads.. Some people report that they were unable to make major. That is how I came into the stock of Ramshot Competition a few years back. It is meant as a target load for 12 gauge shotshells so is likely in the burn rate of Clays. prodfastc
I wish I had a chrono so I could tell you what im getting as far as vel but im loading 4.6gr @1.19O oal with 185 mollys and to me its a sweet shooting combo It was recomended a major load as 4.4 gr @1.2 oal so I decided to go a little higher living in south Ga Its suppose to be revers sensitive
Skydiver
I've had to go all the way up to 5.2gn behind a 180gn MG CMJ bullet at 1.80" OAL to make 174 PF out of my 4.75" barrel on my Tanfoglio Limited. My understanding is that Montana Golds tend to be slower than lead or plated bullets.
splashdown
I like Ramshot Competition for all of my Limited and Production loads. From 135gr to 180gr bullets. Major or minor.
