Which .223 primers to avoid when loading on a 650?

The CCI 400's and wolfs work great for me. I have loaded about 10k rds of .223 with out a primer problem.

I've reloaded the standard CCI, Federal, Winchester, Remington, and Wolf primers all without a problem. The Wolf seemed to be a little larger than the rest but that can help if you have some loose primer pockets. I really don't have a preference and have 3 different types sitting on my shelf right now. For match ammunition I use the CCI's but that's only because I got a good deal on them, bought a bunch, worked up my loads and zeros using them.

The WOLF 223 primers work great. My next favorite are the CCI 400's.

I have gone through 10-15k Wolf primers without any problems.

Since they're Russian though, I refuse to shoot them in majors (despite having no problems).

I shoot CCI SR in majors.

I have used small rifle and small rifle magnum primers of all brands with no problems with any of them.

I've loaded thousands of rounds of .223 exclusively with CCI 400 primers and never had a problem.

Both Win and Fed SR primers have loaded and functioned flawlessly for me.

For me it seems that the older manufactured CCI's gave me fits but the new ones work fine.. I've not had any trouble with the following.

Federal

Winchester

Remington

Wolf

Tula

PMC

New CCI's

I use the Wolf SRP also. I like the fact they are a tad larger as it helps to combat some of the looser primer pockets.
