Julien Boit
This is what lots of shooters used here in the good old days of 230 grs in 45ACP. The powder is cheap and you don't have to put a lot inside the case. We used it for 200 and 230 grs wether lead of jacketed bullets. Clean powder but fast burning. A good one for me. warpspeed
I use it for my steel loads in 9mm. Never tried it in 45ACP. It meters exceptionaly well and is very accurate in 9mm at sub-minor loads.

warpspeed
Travis, keep in mind that it is a very fast powder. On one of those "relative burn rate" charts, it was the fastest listed. Faster than N310, AA#2 & Clays.

Julien Boit
I don't remenber for the 200 but we used to load 3.8 grains of Ba10 for the 230s. Maybe around 4 grains, I'll try to look for my old datas.
warpspeed
warpspeed---care to share your 9mm load info? thanks! Sure. I use the BA-10 for 9mm steel loads. I use a 115 gr MG jhp bullet with 2.8 gr of BA10 , WSP primer and the OAL is 1.080. avg vel - 930 fps. Very accurate. I use it for Steel Challenge so pf is a non-issue. Good luck! randy01
I load 3.7 grains under a 200 plated SWC. It's verry mild but o so accurate.
Jody Waring
Speaking of Nobel powders, has SP2 made it back to the market yet?
TBF
Warpspeed, I did not have that chart. Thanks for the info. I did find some data listed for this powder in the Lee manual. Judging from what I did see it's some pretty fast stuff. Between the lack of barrel length specs, and the CUP Vs. CIP conversion factor ( Ain't one is there ? ), It's kinda hard to pinpoint the exact burn rate. Not that I put much faith in those charts either... So I ordered a keg for testing. In case you did not know this, Graf's total shipping for 32 LBS of powder is $ 4.75 US. They pay Haz-mat. Travis F.
