bmiller
I purchased a gsg 1911, and after replacing the guide rod and firing pin it still only would run on mini mags. (The guide rod and firing pin had nothing to do with ammo problem, just citing my bad luck) My wife purchased the Brian Enos Practical Shooting Beyond Fundamentals (awesome book, have learned alot) and the slide glide combo for Christmas. I lubed the gsg 1911 with slide glide and the gun now functions with everything. It would not go to slide lock, now it does with red box american eagle crap. It made a difference! Great product. StravIs09
i dont now how slide glide solved a function problem, slide glide is really really thick, but i cant seem to see how it will fix a functional issue
HotLoad
Wow that is some kinda magic!?
bmiller
I can't explain it, all I know is it helped. I think it reduced friction and increased slide speed. Maybe a coincidence. The slide would not lock back before, and now it does.
BlueOvalBruin
Maybe the slide was overrunning the mags and the slide glide slowed down the slide enough to let the mag springs keep up.
polizei1
I've had Slide-Glide Lite for almost a year now and still haven't used it (except on my swing). Where do you apply it and how much? I'm going to try it when the weather breaks, but I've always used oil and had great results.
Jon Merricks
I've used it for about 10 years I think. It's great stuff and can be used anywhere oil is used. It doesnt get very cold here where I live but even in the winter I would lighting it up a little with oil, that was before BE came out with the SG lite. When I was shooting an open gun with hybrid holes and it would blow it all over the cmore lens so that is the only place that I would not use it, around the holes. The thicker stuff can slow down tight guns but I really love the stuff. I had a gunsmith once that said he really hated using grease on guns, but I left him some of the SG anyway. It took him a while but he was using it regulary last time I saw him. Oh one of the best things about it is you never have to add more till you clean the old off. I also used it in Afghan and Iraq without worry of failing me.

DsWright
been running slide glide med on my P239 for carry for a couple years. no oil seemed to stay on the rails very well. But the slide glide is soooooo slick, the difference is amazing to me. and to much really is a bad thing. it doesn't take much.
ahtsay
I'm a very satisfied Slide Guide user, heck, I even use it on my door hinges
Wild Gene
I think it is really funny to hear what people have to say when I tell them I use SG on my pistols. I have yet to get a positive response. I really like it. Less cleaning and less lubing is good. WG.
SlowShooter
I lubed the gsg 1911 with slide glide and the gun now functions with everything. I've had the opposite experience: if I put Slide Glide on my GSG, it slows it down enough to where sometimes it won't go into battery after cycling. I have to run a light oil only. Rolex
I use the lite on my open gun- I have used the medium on all my Glocks, It makes the gun feel "tighter" but that's because-I think- its just thick enough to dampen the frame to slide looseness.
