Jon Merricks Posted February 9, 2012 Share Posted February 9, 2012 Just learned that a friend of mine passed away this morning unexpectedly. He was just a few years older than me but has had health issues for many years. This past year he got to see his stepson sworn in at the same Police Dept he was working at till his death. Cool that he got to see his son join him on the job. Don't beat yourself up to bad Jon, its happened to all of us; more than I'd care to admit.
