So THAT'S what a good trigger feels like....

I was checking zeroes with different ammos in an M1 rifle for the Texas Multigun matches, but at the end of the session switched to an LR308 with a JP trigger.

:surprise:

I KNOW there is a big difference but one to the next reminded me how huge that difference is.

There's nothing more embarrassing as when someone asks you to try their rifle and it doesn't go off. :D THAT'S when you appreciate just how nice your trigger is. ;)

First time I experienced this was Sunday. I was shooting at a public range sighting in my rifle that has a JP trigger. Another shooter offered to let me shoot his SCAR 16. It took forever to break that first shot. I kind of felt like an idiot.

I have been using the Timney 3# drop in solid trigger unit in my 3-Gun rifle, and couldn't be happier. It breaks clean with no creep, reset is short and has not had any hiccups to speak of. Price was reasonable compared to closest competitors ($175ish). I'd recommend it to anyone.
