AlamoShooter
I try-ed the search honest I did. OK So I am out growing my factory trigger much faster than I thought. My assumption was that I may end up being kept out of a bolt gun event if my gun did not have a safety. so I figured even if I never used it, no harm in having it on the trigger. Now it looks like I can get a Jewel or Timney sooner if I opt for one with out a safety any Advice... Well how about knowledgeable advice. landshark45
I would wait and get the safety. You may rarely use it but you never know when you will need the off switch. As far as what a match may want/ not want I really don't know but I would think its a given that all rifles need the safety.
Mr.Kirk
You don't need a safety for F class or Benchrest. You need an ECI

AlamoShooter
Thanks for the help on and off the Forum. I went with the Jewell trigger with the safety. Like most things its better to have it and not need it , than to want it and not have it. Edited February 13, 2012 by AlamoShooter
