five six
Recently put together a Ma-Ten upper/lower with a fulton armory barrel and BCG (headspaced by them), and while adjusting my PRI gas block I noticed some weird brass markings. I am using some dynamit nobel 7.62 nato ammo. The case has what appears to be 2 sets of perforations(like a perforations on your common pay stub) running vertically starting from the neck of the case. It only happens after shot, not when I load a round and eject it without firing. If I can provide any more info please let me know. mpeltier
You have a very nice oak table top there. Scince that's all that's in focus its hard to comment on the caseneck.
sparks1
Chamber has a burr? causing the "perforation" Spell check is at the top right corner.
RH45
Mine does that a little bit too. I really haven't looked in to it to determine if it is coming from the ramp, when loading, or, if it is scraping, when ejecting.
Mark Gale
The feed ramps in your barrel extension needs to be de-burred!

Coleman
Take a marker and blacken the case and mark top of case, but in mag with top of case up and cycle by hand, it will show you which feed ramp/s need to be deburred. I used a small honing stone to deburr mine then followed by a cratex tip in the dremel to smooth it out better. watch the shank of the dremel so it dont hit the inside of the reciever. Mark Gale
The feed ramps in your barrel extension needs to be de-burred! How would I de-burr the barrel extension without screwing it up? You need to remove the barrel assembly from the upper receiver and use a Cratex cone to break the edges.
