tavman
I really only have time to shoot on weekends and hit a few major matches last year. I shot about 1500K .22 8000K .45 500 9mm. I'm going to start shooting 3 gun this year so I see my round count increasing significantly in 2012.

RussellM
The past few years I shot a few thousand rounds of 9mm. I am loading up 20k for practice for the coming year as we speak.
hkguy
about 10k last year between my wife and I. about 6k 9mm and the rest is .22, .17HMR, .38spl and .
MARKAVELI
I didnt have the time to shoot much last year but when I did it was about 7k for sure between 5 caliber's! Maybe more, I did shoot in a few IDPA comps and practice a few times last year.. I still havnt found a pet load I like and I did get a new AR so it should be more this year! Have fun and be safe peeps...
Paul-the new guy
I have loaded 15k of 9mm and .40 combined but I have no idea how many I have shot because my son believes there is a bullet fairy.... every time I turn around there are empty cases under his pillow... Xrunner
~4.5k due to a move early in the year and lack of solid employment. (3k of 9mm, 500 .45, and 1k of .22 give or take a bit). Looking forward to more trigger time this year!
prreed10
I'd guess around 10K counting rifle & shotgun for 3gun plus another 4K in rimfire for practice. I've decided to start a monthly spreadsheet to keep track for 2012.
blaster113
fired about 6000 with the Limited .40 and another roughly 3000 with the Open .38SC, so about 9000 total. my other guns never get shot anymore. maybe if I quit screwing around with the Open gun I can improve in Limited
leadslinger275
About 15,000 all 9mm in about 6 months of practicing 2x a week and shooting about 3 local matches a month. I was only able to shoot one Lvl 2 last year because of work. Hopefully 20k + this year, we will see how the work schedule goes.
centralworks
Between 5-8k rounds which seems more less expensive once you have already shot it.
leewhiskey
Easily 5k in 40, another 3 or 4 in 9mm, and probably 1k of 45 and 223. Now 22lr is a different story... Probably 10k, so affordable compared to the larger calibers I can't resist shooting more of it.
dagger10k
1) Wow you guys shoot a lot! All calibers combined, rifle, pistol, and shotgun I'm pretty sure I came in under 10k for 2011. 2) I'm amazed that people actually keep count at all...
carlosa
It's easy count all the bear creek boxes before I throw them out at the end of the year
Dillon b
Last year i think I shot about 8,000 rounds. 2k .45 in a singlestack, and around 5,000 rounds of .40 in limited. I think i shot probably 3-4k of rimfire ammo to.
West Texas Granny
How do you guys find so much time to shoot! I'm probably only in the 5-7k range including rifle and shotgun! I can't imagine shooting 20k + in a year, but I'd sure like to find out what it's like:) Depends on what you want to do. Sometimes just one mag of 9mm is sufficient for that range trip. Then their are the shotgun sports of 5 stand, skeet and trap. Right now I'm running 300-400 rounds a week of 12ga just to get a consistent 20 out of 25 in trap and I've yet to spend a day just on 5 stand or skeet. One reason for switching from revolver to the 9mm is I'm about out of 45acp. Only have about 1,000 rounds left and that's barely enough to cover 2 matches plus practice for those matches. Honestly I don't want to think about how much ammo I use because the next thing I'll think about is the money I've spent. Too late.
skargoh
2500 9mm (that was a lot for me, unfortunately). Handful of others.

grapemeister
About 25,000 for 2011, loaded on a single stage press. You guys are soft! I'm glad I didn't have a progressive press...I would have shot twice as much and gone broke.
Retread1911
This is a great question. I saved my Primer box ends since 1995 and have just over 60 but I took almost 10 years off. I also started dating them since returning in gusto to the shooting sports in 2011. I went through 12K smalls and 7K large. The smalls are split between 9mm 40 and about 1K of 45 while the larges are all .45 ACP. There is also a smattering of odd calibers and some purchased ammo that does amount to much perhaps another 1K or so. So getting better but I have two of those little people (AKA kids) that think Ammo is FREE. But hey they only grow up once and I am having fun shooting with them.
