baa
Around 25K of pistol ammo (.40/9mm/.45/.22 LR) in 2011. So far in 2012, right around 5K. We have a lot of local matches in Florida, both weeknights and weekend times, so it is not hard to shoot 2-2.5k a month just shooting local matches and a weekly practice session. And we don't have an off season. Edited April 10, 2012 by baa

partyboy424
It's not too much money I you already were budgeted for other sports. This is nothing compared to the 10k ATV I had, the 2k trailer, gas and a pickup truck payment. Now I just have a jeep and 1k in ammo stocked up. And I shoot a whole lot more than I ever atv'd
dab
For me, 3-4k of .45. That's about 2 local matches per month, 1 major match, and some occasional practice sessions. I'm going to have to get a 2nd job to keep up with some of you!
BSeevers
Well not a beginner but probably like 8 K and my normal pace to win is a 2 before that 8. My first year I kept track and it was 57K but in that day nobody helped you, there were no DVD, books, classes, internet, etc With a basic book I could have probably cut that round count in half and get the same results.
