Loki999
Hi all, I'm still very happy with my shadow, the only thing i don't like is the fixed rear sight. In ipsc production we are not allowed to change the rear sight to an LPA. The poi is to low Now i took a little off the top of the rear sight and the poi is higher. But i cannot explain why? With a normal adjustable sight when you lower the complete sight by adjusting it the poi is lower. Anyone??
ck1
Doesn't scan, sounds like it might be you mang. Maybe you're not aligning the front the same..?
Torogi
Maybe you took too much material off the rear? If it is too high then adjust your front sight height too. You didn't mention you shaved both front and rear. I HOPE you are doing all of this from bench and being consistent with your POA.
Loki999
I only took some material from the rear, 4 tenths of à mm. My gunsmit did it for me. Maybe its because the notch is smaller now and i cant the gun more
Philo_Beddoe
In ipsc production we are not allowed to change the rear sight to an LPA. Why? 17.2 Aftermarket open sights (see Rule 5.1.3.1) are permitted, provided their installation and/or adjustment requires no alteration to the handgun Wouldnt these sights use the existing cut in the slide? LPA
Loki999
Thanks for the reply, i think that rearsight is to small. There is another lpasight but then there is milling recuired. Well u guess it wil stay a mystery to me, why the gun impacts higher. Thanks for the replies
