ArmchairOperator556
What kind of slings are you guys using? I know the Vtac is pretty popular. Any disadvantages with the MS3?

ShootfastRunfaster
What kind of slings are you guys using? I know the Vtac is pretty popular. Any disadvantages with the MS3? VTAC over the MS3. The VTAC is easier to adjust when properly configured. The MS3 is more awkward to adjust quickly because the entire length of the sling must slide over your body. If you absolutely can't stand to have a free running end, then go with a VCAS by Blue Force Gear. The VTAC is still superior for 3-gunning with the limited amount that slings are used. jdphotoguy
Just purchased a Stag Arms 3G, still waiting to receive it, but in the mean time I bought a Magpul MS3 with ASAP and RSA. Don't plan to use the sling often other then moving from stage to stage.
Sc0
FYI: Brownells is carrying the "updated" VTAC padded sling. These are available in black only and have some features to address what was lacking on the first generation models.
Wilkenstein
If you go vtac, get the padded version for sure.
1time
The ms3 is a pain to adjust. It does not slide smoothly like the Ms2 or the VTAC. I have the ms2, ms3, Blue force, and the VTAC. The VTAC is far superior to the other 3 for comfort, ease of adjustment and not adjusting by accident.
45shooter
Armageddon gear sells a great sling. New company. Veteran owned. Really nice sling I have been using mine for awhile and really like it
Charles Bond
There are a ton of sling types and options and means to attach. My best advice is to try out all you can at a match. I ended up building what I wanted out of something that was available that did not float my boat.
