gnarlsbark
Anyone tried the SIRT AR Bolt from NLT for dryfire training, or heard about someone who has? Impressions?
Chuck Anderson
Didn't know it was out yet. Mike's been teasing me with it for almost a year now.
Kuiper
Installed one yesterday, since my AR15 has the JP trigger system installed it took me some time to adjust the system. But once the triggerlink pin is installed and adjusted to the sweet spot it works like a charm. Looking forward to adding this to my dry fire sessions, I see some potential in using it for timed target presentation. Practicing transitions and shooting on the move. From time to time you do need to dry fire with your live fire parts IMHO, especially since the SIRT bolt doesn't even come close to the crisp JP trigger I've got installed in my weapon. YMMV

YMMV Hey bro, hope the SIRT AR Bolt is adding value to your AR training. Personally I just use the AR more around the house, but the wife has to get use to the AR lieing aroudn (with the red bolt in it) which is more to swallow than the SIRT Pistol. Actually the first generation triggers were too nice. Seriously, they were too crisp and we had to make them "crummier", ha. Looking to have new sears in the future, but you are dead on that we need to dry fire with our live fire triggers too.

hitman_usmc
I have one and it works great in my 11.5" duty rifle with a standard A2 birdcage. I've tried it once in my 3gun rifle (3gh upper) which has a Titan comp. In the 3gun rifle the laser comes out looking like a large green blob. I could play with it a little more and see if it just wasn't sitting right, but so far it only works with my standard A2 flash hider. They gave away a couple of them at the Double Tap Championship Yep, they had a sirt pistol, too. I saw the bolt on the table and wasn't sure what it did. Afterwards I was really wishing I had put my tickets in for it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I didn't know what the bolt was for or I would have put a ticket in there. The pistol is great I use it alot. The kids like it for practice.
