stein
I think the consensus will be: buy a variety and see what works best from your barrel(be sure to test with the different chokes you plan on running). gng4life
Yeah, I agree, buy several and see what works in your gun. I did a ton of research on this last year and it seemed like the majority shoots the B&P slugs, http://bandpusa.com/competition.html?shot=
Mbauer67
I will second B&P slugs, they run great in my slp
leemoe83
I've used the Winchester and Remington low recoil slugs with no issues. No problems holding A zone offhand at 50 yards, but I have never really done accuracy testing with slugs out of this gun, the local 3 gun matches I have shot have never had a slug shot at more than 20 yards. I use the improved cylinder choke.
onerock45
The basic federal 1oz 1600fps shot best in mine (about 2in at 50 yds), Rio reduced were second (3in groups), Remington reduced weren't very accurate (6 in groups). They all shot better with the I/C choke than a modified. The biggest thing though was the point of impact shifted dramatically at 50 yds with the different slugs, so you have to pick one and stick to it. CocoBolo
I don't shoot Wolf anything, however, in my FN SLP 22" the Wolf Rifled Slugs hit POA at 50 yard. 5 Shots one 2" hole.
