outerlimits Posted January 6, 2012 Share Posted January 6, 2012 was planning on building a little single stack 38 super. had a frame lying around that was previously on a steel gun. before i blow a wad of cash, since the frame has holes in it from a scope mount, is it legal for single stack?? lumpygravy Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Yep - that was me. After the responses received in that thread, I'm proceeding with my build but it's going to be a .40S&W. The holes will be welded. They may telegraph through whatever finish is applied, but it's going to be a backup gun anyway.
