felt
Does anyone have one that is stippled? I've got a matching set of K-frame combat grips that I find to slick for my liking and, I'm thinking I might take a whack at one of mine with a pencil grinder... If you do can you post up a close up of the stippling?
cyberiad
Here are a few. I tried to move the flash to give more dimension to the stippling otherwise it's a bit flat. Edited January 4, 2012 by cyberiad
okshootist
You can get a pretty good match to the Nil stippling using a worn center punch and a light mallet.

Hehe… I butchered a set of Super Blackhawk grips with a diamond pointed punch years ago. Ugly as sin, but I loved the way the felt. Looks won out though, I couldn't bear looking at them and I eventually took them off. Edited January 11, 2012 by cas

cas
I love the Nils. Almost wish I didn't, thats some expensive German plywood. There are places that should have them (some) in stock.
Shooting4life
I wouldn't do anything to modify the grips you have. I would sell the then buythe new ones outright. If you modify them and do like it they will be very hard to Flickr something else. Here are mine on my 625's.
cyberiad
I like them too. I ordered them directly from Nill in Germany because Mac-Tec didn't list the ones I wanted (shown above) on their site. I think Nill ship once a month to the US so I had to wait a while but it was worth it.
