Davidp1911 Posted January 2, 2012 Share Posted January 2, 2012 I spoke to STI a few months ago and they said a redesign is underway and the new grips should be available early 2012. Both my 2011's have aluminum grips...they are more solid feeling and you gan't grip them hard enough to cause the mags to stick...or at least I can't.
