Homemade CMORE mount

Has anyone made their own CMore mount? I am going to try my hand at it and would like to talk to someone if they have. Especially about any drawings or measurements that they may have. I do not have a CNC machine but can do some bending and light fabrication. I am planning on mounting it on a Tangfo Witness. Here is a pic of my first attempt. By no means my final product.

How do you like the STS sight? I am still not sure which sight I am going to get. I have only used the serendipity.

Pics look real good.

I bought the STS right after it came out in order to solve the problem of my 9Major brass ejecting up, hitting the C-More, then causing a stovepipe. The little STS was short enough that I could mount it forward of the ejection port.

They may have made some chances since I bought the STS, however, at the time the only problem that I had with the STS was that the 7.5 moa dot at full intensity would wash out in the sun. I ended up selling it and going to the 90 degree mounted C-More.

Here is my second try at making a cmore mount. Got some alum angle today and started cutting. Piece that is on the front end will be bent to make a blast shield. This is the first time I worked with alum. I will try some different things on the next mount. Got several feet of alum so I plan on making some different styles.

I researched all the mounts available on the net for a good month for my Gold. I finally decided my skills did not even come close enough to attempt a "build your own." I bought one from Henning. From the pictures you posted it looks like you are improving your fabricating skills. Who knows, you may design an improved model. Go for it!
