wes777
Range time today my mistake with 8lbs of tightgroup. After about 300rds of reloads with tightgroup, I switched to 100rds loaded with 4.2gn of Clays...... and what an improvement in recoil. Both were loaded to make major. Accuracy couldnt be compared (lrn vs lswc), but the clays definitely wasnt as sharp with recoil. If I were to lengthen the oal from 1.222 to something in the 1.235 range would it affect the felt recoil that much. Accuracy might improve? donbryant993
I made that exact switch last summer, i like the Lighter recoil from clays better, but the biggest reason i switched was because titegroup was so filthy to shoot. I used to make it out to my personal range on the farm 5 out of 7 days a week and i would come inside wearing half a tub of powder.. So now that ive started loading for .40, I'll reserve the tightgroup for whenever i run out of my stash of N320 and need it in a pinch.
