Flexmoney
How many rounds have you put through your J-frame(s) in the past year. How many under the clock?
Pstmstr
About 400 in competition, around 1000 overall.
RRLAZ
Two hundred and fifty, through a 649. How many for you Flex?
ChrisC
probably about 50 I know I'm a slacker....
Vermilion
Maybe 75 various 38s and 357s.
wlktheduk
Around 850 rounds. Mostly standard pressure 148 grain HBWC's. 50 rounds of +P's fired during carry ammo rotation, and load testing. Fired in a S&W Model 638 Of the 850 rounds, about 400 fired "on the clock" in IDPA SSR or BUG events. (yes, I've had fun running the J frame in SSR) And a yearly requalification shoot. (when 30 of the +P's were fired)
RevolverJockey
500 or so - all 148 DEWC. Not competing, but a few cylinders on the clock onto steel plates from a pocket holster to get an idea. Lee
bbbean
How many rounds have you put through your J-frame(s) in the past year. How many under the clock? I blew the dust off it once when I was reorganizing the gun safe, does that count?
mwx40x40
Average just shy of 200 rounds per year usually. However, this year was less than 100.Our local indoor range does a BUG gun match every November and December. And for the last 3 years I have always run my J frame. Only problem the match is not 100% IDPA governed. They allow everyone to load with 6 rounds and courses of fire usually involve 12 or more shots. Being the only round gun in the crowd , I gave way to the bottom feeder this year and shot it with my Kahr 9mm.
leas327
Less than a box. Just messin' around. I used to shoot it in the bug events when I went to IDPA matches. Then I got to running around with a bad crowd and haven't been to any of those lately. Maybe next season I will make it to one of those j-frame challenges. Round_Gun_Shooter
100 rounds of defense ammo, cleaned it and put it back in my pocket holster where it belongs
Bill Nesbitt
Maybe 500 total with around 200 of that under the clock.
solaritx
about 400 with 200 under the clock with IDPA BUG matches.

Neomet
200 plus under the clock.
Norther
The J I shoot the most is a 5" .22. I'd guess about 500 off the clock, plus I think 3 steel matches. Won the iron sight rimfire division. My wife shot her 649 in maybe 2 steel matches. Probably 200 rounds off the clock.
West Texas Granny
Not enough for sure. Going to the range this afternoon and guess I will take my little 31-1 out for a spin. GentlemanJim
I shoot a few hundred, just to stay proficient with it Jim
Suicycle
Around 200 total. Aprox 50 to 65 on the clock at BUG matches. I have the heavy J frame, 640.
earplug
Yearly, about five hundred in a 642. I keep a box of shells in my gun box and shoot five to ten rounds after I shoot my fun guns. I do this about once a week. Shot five today! Good way to rotate my carry load.
Tom E
99 rds "on the clock" and about 50 rds screwing around, all in a borrowed 642. 99 rds because we do a 33 rd "BUG" match along with our "Off Duty" PPC matches. Will be more since I just got a 342. Edited December 30, 2011 by Tom E
Loose Brass
50 rounds of factory and another 20 of carry ammo all through my 642. It lives in a pocket holster I carry daily at work. Unfortunately no ammo on the clock
kevinj308
200 a year maybe. About 100 on the clock. My ICORE club ran a shotgun/j-frame match this year. Was alot of fun. Kevin
