Matt Griffin
I need some of this magical material to make a port blocker for my Mossberg 930, but I have no idea where I would find it locally.
Outsydlooknin75
Hardware store or hobby shop should have it. I used a piece of sheet rubber found at the hardware store in the plumbing section to make gaskets. Chills1994
MSC or Reid tool supply possibly. If not that, then maybe just plain ol' aluminum flashing meant to go on a roof or around siding would be of the correct thickness you are looking for. McMaster-Carr?? Grainger??? Ben Diss
Get a big set of feeler gauges and you'll have a variety of hardened material to use of differing thicknesses.
392heminut
You can also check at automotive machine shops and some auto parts stores like Napa and Car Quest. The box stores like O'Rielly and Autozone will probably be a waste of time though.

Matt Griffin
I noticed a little machine shop/auto parts store close to the house and they hooked me up with some .005 stock. Wrapped it around the ports on my Mossberg and it seems to do the job. I couldn't detect any gas coming out when I hip-fired it and watched closely. Good tip about the feeler gauge, I'll keep an eye out at Harbor Freight. Matt
