cworks
This has to have a place in the sport where a sling is needed.... Fast forward to 4:10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOa3yrnz8SQ&feature=player_embedded#!
Smokin
What kind of application and rifle doyou intend to use the sling for? For 3 gun, I use a blue force/ vickers type of 2 point sling. For positional positional (seated/ kneeling) shots on a long range shots where time pressure isn't the primary factor, I use a turner Leather high power sling., sometimes I may substitute a TAB gear tactical sling depending on the match conditions. These slings require some training to use properly.
cworks
An AR for 3-Gun. I guess I am thinking in a tactical mindset. Being deployed and walking around having my rifle loosely banging around gets annoying(no I am not a fobbit). The fact that it fits tight, snug and has the ability to get on target quickly is what interests me. I personally haven't shot any matches that required a sling but thought this might be a good fit for someone. I am defiantly going to order one and test it out though. 45shooter
Try a Armageddon gear sling. They hold the rifle tight but it still comes up fast. Much more tension then any other elastic style sling I have ever tried
