TMC
This is a Mossberg 930 SPX I picked of the prize table at the Multi-Gun Nationals. I wanted to set if up for my daughter who is 5-3 and less than 100lbs. We wanted a shorter gun than my 24" Benelli she shot this year. I was hoping to find someone who was switching to the 24" barrel and might want to unload the ported barrel but when nothing turned up I called Benny who had one cut to 20" and threaded. We added some Tru-Glo sights, sold the 18" barrel and ghost ring sights, traded the pistols grip stock for a standard, welded the lifter, beveled the loading port and I added a couple inches to the SPX mag tube extension so it will hold 8+1. Had it out today and put 100 rounds of shot throught it and 20 slugs to get a 50 yard zero. It shoots great and is SO much easier to load than the Benelli.
