kimberacp
I have an eye on a HK M1 at a sporting good store. 1000.00 dollars. In good shape or is a M2 a better buy? thanks
Bryan 45
Way too high for an older M1. M1s should be in the $600-$750 range, depending on barrel length. Unless this M1 for $1,000 already has a go-fast package by a reputable smith, I'd suggest you keep looking.
HRider
I agree with Bryan, unless this M1 is something special (Benny Hill gun or equal), leave it. A brand new M2 American (essentially a new M1) can be had for $900 most of the time. I have seen M1 field models go for as little as $550 on Gunbroker recently. IceDevil
Agree w/everyone else above. Just watched an M1 Field go for $590 on Gunbroker. My local shop has a brand new M2 American (no comfortech stock) for $850. No reason to pay more than that for a 15+ year old used M1. Berd
Agreed with the above. I've recently picked up an older HK marked M1S90 for $500. It's better than the 870P I have been using. For the $1000 range I would look for an M2 Field which is better suited to the game.
