001.jpg Am I pulling my gun to the right, bad trigger pull, bad stance maybe? I think I am pushing my right hand forward until elbow locks but left elbow is slightly bent could that be causing the pulled shots? I'm thinking about installing an Apex trigger kit later on to lighten the trigger. I am used to light triggers on my rifles. Also, this time I shot using my left eye while still shooting with right hand as strong hand. also, a couple rounds went off at unexpected times by accident. Thanks for any opinions!

Looks like a pretty nice group to me, with a few flyers.

That load, or the gun, may be sighted in to shoot low/right?

I wouldn't assume you're causing the bullets to hit low/right.

I wouldn't worry about where the bullets are hitting just

yet - just get them into a nice small group -looks like you

are doing great job on that.

Try different OAL's, different bullets, different grains of

powder and maybe even different powders - try to get a nice

accurate load that you like - then sight the gun in so it

hits where you're aiming.

Good luck,

Jack

Thanks for the compliment, I'll keep at it and try different loads and hopefully I can improve some more. :)

P5200, I found that My Gun prefers heavier bullets -

more accurate for me than 115 grain bullets.

What kind of gun are you shooting?

There's also a post here that some people have

found other powders (besides WW231) that are more

accurate (AA2 or AA7 - I forgot which one).

Good luck,

Jack

I'm shooting a M&P 40 with a KKM 40-9MM conversion barrel not the most accurate choice of pistols I'm sure. I have some AA#7 Powder and some tightgroup but, have tried neither yet. The target I posted the other day was with Hornady HP/XTP 147gr. rounds. I've been looking at some 1911 style pistols thinking about maybe saving up for something like that or any suggestions on a better pistol just for my own amusement shooting for groups and an occasional Possum at night when they try to get into my trash can would be welcomed. Thanks!
