CMV Posted December 17, 2011 Share Posted December 17, 2011 So I received a new Weaver 1-5x24 Weaver scope to T&E from the guys at ATK (they own Federal, CCI/Speer, Weaver, etc). It's a 30mm tube with both red and green illumination. I really like the first focal plane reticle and the green illumination. It came a couple weeks ago and I stuck it in an nice, inexpensive PEPR Mount I got from Sean at http://www.powerfactorshooting.com/Default.asp The mount works great, though I think a Larue SPR-E is in my future to put the scope a little farther forward. I put the scope on my new Noveske rifle and figured I would try it out. So far the scope seems to work very well. Its bright and clear, my only complaint is the reticle is a little busy for my taste. Anyone have any experience with the weaver scope as to durability, etc? I'd really like to find a great scope for 3G without breaking the bank. So far this seems like a good candidate... I'll throw in some pics just cause... Don't mind the troy sight on the front of the rifle, I just stuck it there, I dont' run irons on this rifle.
