98sr20ve
So apparently S&W makes a M&P (non pro/L) that comes from the factory with a threaded barrel. Is it legal in production. I didn't see it on the production list but I don't know if the a hyphenated gun designation even required to be approved. I don't see how it's a advantage. It could be a real hindrance to new shooters to enforce this type of rule at a local level as well.
Sarge
I don't think it's legal. I also don't see an advantage but I don't see it on the list either. I looked around a little and it looks like they no longer make it? The S&W site does not mention it nor do the usual places that used to sell it. It's called an M&P Spec Ops so it does have a specific designation like the L or Pro or Compact. So I would think it would have to be listed to be legal.
