wmounts
I have managed to collect .38 caliber brass in a multitude of "flavors", and want to sell it. Are any of these generally interchangeable? .38TJ, .38Super, .38SuperComp, .38SuperACP, etc.?
superdude
38TJ and 38 SuperComp are rimless versions of the 38 Super. Standard 38 Super brass (including 38 ACP) have a semi-rim. 38 Super and 38 Super ACP are dimensionally identical, but anything marked 38 ACP might not be very thick brass and only intended for weaker loads, so it should be separated from the 38 Super brass for that reason. For technical information on 38 Super brass see: http://38super.net/Pages/Brass.html
gng4life
For what it's worth, I can run 38 Super and .38 SuperComp in my pistol without any problems and no modifications. I have run thousands of each and the only problem I've had is problems with my loads I was testing.
