rupture
Is it possible to replace a cone comp on a ported barrel if the ports went thru the original cone. Are cones universal or specific to the comp
2alpha
The cones are universal as to the diameter fitting the slide and there are a couple of different internal thread dimensions. The length of the cone can vary and could be shortened by your gunsmith if needed. Do you want holes in the cone to line up with the barrel or are trying to cover up the holes? On an older gun, I found that the comp and cone were two separate pieces. If the gunsmith knew about the holes, he may have gone this route.
