Updated rules are posted on the website including the Heavy Metal Limited rules.

Did something in particular change?

Other question was does HM shoot the same hits on paper as tactical optics?

They didn't have HM Lim in the rules because it wasn't a recognized division until a week or two ago. A quick review of the rules didn't show any differences between scoring for HM and Tactical.

Jesse,

You are going to find that MOST of the outlaw matches do not give the big guns a larger one-hit only required area. (Ie; an A-B-C hit netraulizes). Would be nice...but everyone has the option of just putting one shot on paper...and a lot more heavy shooters utilize it because of the low number of rounds on a mag. But I would say not all the time as a rule...

I guess I was assuming that the Heavy guys got the A/C as their one hit to neutralize zone. Bummer!

Doug / Scott -

What's the wait list looking like? Any movement?

A few people left the Wait List, opting to shoot the RO match, but there are still 11 folks on the List. No one has canceled and we are holding 12 slots for Match Sponsors. After June 1st those slots will be opened to competitors if the Sponsors don't use them. The RO match only has 10 spots left so if you think you want to shoot with the ROs then you need to make a decision soon.

New sponsors have just stepped up to the plate,

Chris at http://www.repconnw.com/ is donating 50% off vouchers to "All" participants! They will also be at the match with lots of product so participants can purchase right there on the spot! Please check out their line of pants with Kevlar knees, Doug and I wear them all the time and are arguably the best pant out there, with features like knee pads that are replaceable from the outside that are easy in and out without dropping your drawers.

Todd at PWS http://primaryweapons.com/store/pc/viewcontent.asp?idpage=17 is stepping up as a Silver Sponsor  . Please look at their website and see what new products they have to offer!

The match is coming along just fine...new challenges and more targets for more shooting fun.

Do we have a round count yet and special requirements list as in slings and stuff. Maybe a link.

Thanks,

Scott and I are finalizing stages and we should have a round count up by the end of the month. You can always check the website for updates at www.nwmultigun.com.

Any movement on the waiting list?

I moved up a couple of guys last week. We are holding some spots for sponsored shooters but as of June 1st any of those that have not been filled will be open to the wait list folks. If you are a sponsored shooter you need to get your paperwork in ASAP!

Most of the stages are posted at www.nwmultigun.com, take a look and see what we have in store for you. Main match squadding is done and will be posted soon. Staff match squadding will be done in a few weeks.

Sponsored shooter slots expire on Friday, 6/1. If you wanted to get in as a Sponsored shooter you better contact me before then or you're out of luck. Still waiting for a few folks to get me shirt sizes and 3GN numbers. Only six weeks till the match!
