D.Hayden
I didn't see a thread about 9mm - but my search foo has been weak lately I want reliable 10 round 9mm magazines. Tried the one I could find at Brownell's, it hardly functioned. The magazine that came with the STI Spartan works great, but only holds 9 rounds Dawson has a few.. anyone here tried them? I'm guessing Tripp has them, but with the website down, not 100% on that Any suggestions appreciated.. Thanks, Dave
perjohn
I recently bought a 9mm Trojan, and went with the Wilson ETM mags. I haven't had any problems. I left them loaded a day or two to make speed reloads a little easier. YMMV.
open17
Wife tried ETM's in her Colt 9mm. VERY hard to seat, functioned about 95%. Went to Tripp's----loves them. 100% YMMV
D.Hayden
Ok - found the Wilson's at Midway -- thanks! Ok - naive question.. for Tripp you just call them these days? Thanks in advance.. Dave
Matrix68
+1 on Tripp magazines. I just ordered a couple more from their website about a month ago.
steel1212
Get the Tripp mags much easier to reload than the wilsons
EkuJustice
+1 on tripp. Tried wilsons and Tripps the wilsons are gone the tripps stayed
woof
In my Colt the Tripp mags work with round nose bullets and Metalform for most everything else. I have some old Chip McCormick 38 super 10 rounders that will run with the round nose bullets. woof
Paul-the new guy
Tripp mags are awesome. I have a Trojan and i could not get Wilson mags to run reliably at all but Tripp mags run great. I have one that I use for LAMR that holds 11. The web site does not seem to be down.... I ordered another mag 2 weeks ago. Try this link: Tripps online store

DWFAN
What did you try from Brownells? And what didnt function? My Vote is Tripp or Metalform 9mm..
digby7
tripp - I sold all my 9mm wilson ETM's in favor of tripp. Like limited mags, wilsons hold 10 with reloadable 9. even with springs that had taken a good set the mags were just way too hard to seat with 10 rounds with the slide in battery. they likely work fine for idpa where you are reloading at slidelock but i'll take tripps any day. dsmw5142
I've got eight of the Dawson supreme tactical 10 rounders with no-gap base pads and have had zero issues at all with them.
Joe4d
I use the metal form 38 super tubes with shooting star follower and springs. Was the only 10 round reloadable mag I found when I was shooting none of the other mags mentioned were available. The other brand of 38 super 10 rounders either wouldnt reload with 10 or the springs quickly died. I then figured out I was way better off with 9 round mags anyways. (n IDPA) so have just used the regular 9 rounders.
D.Hayden
Thanks for the Tripp Link! I was trying the Tripp homepage.. http://www.trippresearch.com/ they need to add a link to the store The only 10 round magazine at Brownell's I found was the Metalform. I couldn't get more than 2 or 3 shots off before it got a FTF. I got the Spartan in May (I think).. fine pistol for the money.. I have a 1911 in 45, and 10mm and 40.. this just rounds things out.. and after I get it a trigger job, I think my wife will like it in Single Stack
Supermoto
Dawsons work great in my Spartan. It will feed empty cases The only issue is that they are difficult to unload when full.
gunfixer
I'm a Tripp mag guy for 9mm 10 rounders, some of my friends swear by Wilsons and metal-forms..

You will probably find that a round nose bullet will function best but the magazines make a difference too.
jcc7x7
Wilson and Dawson both work great in my three nines. Colt Custom, SA , Dan Wesson pm9
BayouSlide
I've got eight of the Dawson supreme tactical 10 rounders with no-gap base pads and have had zero issues at all with them. spaded.racer
I've never had an issue with my 10 round Wilson ETM mags. Leave them loaded for a week or so to make loading easier.

m1normando
JHP's feed fine in my Tripp magazines without any tweaking, can't say the same for the Wilson's I have used.
