Theo Carter
Hi everyone I need a little help. What I want to know is how well will a titanium comp hold up compared to a stainless comp and which one would you pick and why?
Rush
Theo, its lighter than steel... that's my main reason for going for one. Helps the gun balance better.. How it compares lifewise, some say its shorter and some don't notice any difference. I'v only been using it for a short while but I like it enough and hope that it lasts just as long as a steel one. Hope this helps... Regards,

DRamsey
Hey Kingman, Take a look at this http://www.christilley.com/equipment.htm I think you'll like what you see. You can also go to www.pdhsc.com and go to Chris's web site. It might help you. BTW, I pm'd the phone # you were looking for. DCR
Rush
I'm using Dan Bedells 7 port comp. Its on a 3 port hybricomp. I came from using a dawson TJ comp that was equally good and softer, but it made the gun muzzle heavy. As I have a lightened slide, the balance was just so off that the only way to go was Ti. j1b
I went to a Ti comp because I always noticed that the dot would "wiggle" after a shot. Turned out that "wiggle" was me trying to stablize the end of the gun. In was minimal at best, but I saw it and I didn't like it. The Ti comp fixed that issue. It was that very thing that caused me to break away from the heavy gun philosophy. Particularly out front. I got rid of all of my tungsten guide rods etc. etc. and went with either steel or plastic. I do like a gun that has the weight more balanced in the back. During this phase I thought about, but never did try, a tungsten mainspring housing. I always thought of it like if I was holding a broom stick out in front of me - pointing forward like a barrel of a gun, what would enable me to keep the end of that stick still the best. Particularly after movement of the stick. Each shooter is different though. TGO uses a long slide in Lim-10, and that's obviously something that I would probably not entertain.
