bhurte
Does anyone out here in Eno's land have an old OSX Leopard(heck even maybe Tiger) upgrade/full version laying around that's no longer being used? I have an older G5 Tower(Dual 2.0 PowerPc Processors) that has recently been on the fritz. I'm trying to troubleshoot and the only OS i have the discs for was the original Panther. Any Help would be greatly appreciated, I would be happy to borrow/buy whichever works best for you. Thanks, Ben
edison
Would Snow Leopard work? I have a disc I'm not using because my Air came with a thumbdrive.
BritinUSA
Would Snow Leopard work? I have a disc I'm not using because my Air came with a thumbdrive. I don't think Snow Leopard will run on a PowerPC... If I recall correctly, the last OS-X for non-intel Macs was Leopard.
bhurte
Thanks Edison but BritinUSA nailed it...Leopard is the last version that supports the PowerPC processors.
