dskinsler83
Which will be softer? S1K, WST, or WSF out of a M&P 9L w/ 147 precision black bullets?
The_Vigilante
I would say Solo 1000 and WST would be about the same.
dskinsler83
Oh yeah or Clays???
Hi-Power Jack
The softest is a .22 - I'd start with that - make sure the muffs are good quality - shoot outdoors if you can (not in Denver?). Work her up gradually. Go to a 9mm load with a 110 pf - real gradual. Watch the noise - You can lose a new shooter by loading a pf 135 and shooting indoors with inadequate muffs... Try a real light load of WW231 and a real light bullet, pf 110 - that's really soft. Good luck.
mcracco
Do yourself a favor and try Clays. I'm running 2.8GN under a 147GN Berry's in my M&P9 4.25" with a 13# recoil spring and loving it.
CeeZer
3.6gr of Clays under 124gr Berry's RN with OAL 1.12" - makes PF (out CZ Shadow) for USPSA and is very soft. I'm not sure of pressure with Clays under 147gr bullet, it may be a little too fast burning for the bullet weight. mcracco
No signs of pressure at all. In fact, 2.6GN would not cycle slide with factory spring.
