... and every Open shooter at the match offers you their gun so you can finish. Too cool.

THANKS GUYS!!! You're an awesome bunch of people!

:D

I'm tempted to post in the 'What I Hate' forum... "Choosing which Open gun to borrow"

I'm sorry you're having trouble with your C-More too. Kinda knocks ya out of commission, doesn't it? I had an extractor break once... took me about 5 minutes looking at the gun, dumbfounded, before it set in that my shooting was over for that day. (yes, I now have a spare extractor ;) ). Same kind of feeling with the C-More.

I had a great time at Space City! I learned a lot and it was so much fun! Part of the reason it was so awesome was that I was squadded with the same great people mentioned above. They all really helped me out. I'm so impressed with the overall 'awesome-ness' of the people involved in this game. You seemed pretty 'ok' yourself... :P ... too bad we didn't get more time to chat, but you were busy doing something somewhat important. :D

My C-More hasn't totally crapped out yet. It just won't turn off completely. I just have to pull the battery when not in use. Borrowed an open gun that I am thinking of buying. Gotta do something about the C-more sooner or later. ;) Glad you had a good time at SCC. TXAG

I had my cmore crap out... the dot would bink on only during recoil. Finished the stage without a mike.

Battery tab where it is soldered to the printed circuit board... cold/shocked out connection. I grabbed my allen wrenches, butane soldering iron, solder, took the cmore off the frame, popped off the bottom cover, heated and put some fresh solder on the conneciton.....put the cmore back on, sighted in at an unused bay (with the MD's permission) and back with the squad a stage later.

If someone is good at board-level assembly/electronics, they could be very valueable at a match. Unless your lens pops out, I can usually fix it within 30 minutes....
