CocoBolo
One of my pistols has a Heine rear sight and I want to replace it with an adjustable sight, but Heine doesn't make one. I took the slide to Dawsons shop but they told me they didn't do that type of work anymore. I did have them put a shorter front sight on it but as you well know when you decide to change bullet types or powders its going to move POI. Shooting at the head to get to the body A zone isn't that bad but when the star starts spinning its better to have sights that are on! I did find a post from 2008 that said you had to move the cut forward etc but no definitive answer. So in an adjustable what is the best choice to cause the least amount of cutting on the slide? This is one of those pimped out match guns I won that all chromed up and I'd rather not dork its looks all up. http://www.sashooter.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=716&g2_imageViewsIndex=1 Edited October 13, 2011 by CocoBolo
