barrysuperhawk
I have been running a standard 6 round Scattergun technologies side saddle on my 590 for years, but I put a 3 gun gear velcro and elastic jobbie on my 930SPX and I am getting spoiled by the extra rounds. Unfortunately, it looks like if I want a longer sidesaddle on my 590 I an going to have to manufacture a new backing plate to velcro it to. Anyone have a better way to attach more rounds to the gun or a suggestion on how to attach a longer sidesaddle?
sbpt1911
Are you refering to the 7 shell or the 8 shell side saddle on your 930? 3 gun gear sells a 7 round velcro/elastic for the 590. how many shell are you looking to have?

Zebraman
Have you looked at the Mesa Tactical sidesaddle? It is completely made of aluminum with and elastomer strip in the housing to hold the shells in. I have the 8 round version for my SLP. I had the 3 gun gear 8 round version, but it overlapped the foreend a little and I did not like the way it looked. The Mesa Tactical model is very sturdy, and looks great! But it is a little expensive. Just my 2 cents.... Thanks, Z
