ChiefG
I think I first voted No, want to change that to a Yes now. Used my G17 for the first time in a local match this past weekend and got bitten. Never got bitten when shooting at the range non-action shooting
MarkR
It's only happened a few times, and nothing too awful. A buddy of mine was shooting our local USPSA match last month and got bit pretty badly, skin on the slide, blood, was good stuff. Mine has just been little scratches here and there. GlockDoc
I've got fairly big hands and get bitten periodically if my grip is too high.
Less
I get bit all the time by Gen3 models - so much so that I include "3M Transpore Tape" in my gear/kit. Interestingly, I went to the Gen4 and I don't get bit anymore.
W_Buck
Which back strap are you using on your gen 4?
Cheshire_Cat
I think that the bigger the hands, the higher chance of getting slide bite from a stock Glock. Luckily for me I have wee little hands :-D.
Less
Which back strap are you using on your gen 4? None. (I really like the grippy texture = no need for skate tape)
Beardsatan
I never got bites until I started shooting a 2011 and moved my grip a little higher up on the pistol, now it seems like I get bitten all the time : /
Petrov
I am 5'7" and have medium hands. I can not get slide bite if I tried. The only way I can get the slide to bite my web if I use my off hand to shove the stronghand on top of the beavertail.
jasonG36
If I shoot a Glock during a match, I know I will bleed. I second this response. jfk
djeffers
Bitten no, but I do get what I call "Glock Tracks" sometimes. Two black grease lines on the web. +
