Patrick Sweeney
I'm off to the range to chrono some loads I'm working on. When I get a chance I'm going to drill the bench at the range so I can bolt my 550B right there. Until then, I estimate the proper powder charge, then load a selection at home. I keep track of the powder setting by only adjusting the powder bolt in 1/6 turns, and recording the settings in the chrono log. When I get the velocity I need at the range, then I check the weight for that setting. This mornings session will involve HS-6 and Montana Gold 185's in .45 ACP, and 125 West Coast bullets in 9x19 with Titegroup. One Major+ and the other wimpy Minor. Some days it's good to work for yourself.
