Toolguy Posted September 21, 2011 Share Posted September 21, 2011 (edited) The default dovetail is a .300 X 60 degree X .070 deep in the middle of a .75 long base. Sometimes the dovetail needs to be offset if there is already a cut in the slide that is close to the front. The recommended centerline for the dovetail is .400 or more back from the front edge.
