jdphotoguy
I'd suggest anyone looking for a M&P 9 Pro, seriously consider the M&P 9L, it's the same as the 9 Pro, without the trigger job (9 Pro trigger is not that good) or the fiber front sight. The 9L will cost less and you can add an APEX trigger kit for cheap and then add sights you like.
The_Vigilante
The 9L is just as hard to find as the Pro!

The 9L will cost less and you can add an APEX trigger kit for cheap and then add sights you like. The 9L was discontinued. I have confirmed this with a S&W rep. I don't know when they stopped production, but I saw rumors about it floating on the internet earlier this year.
Maksim
Yeah, had a 9L NIB my dealer found for me, then I had a change of heart, sold it to someone on my forum. Then started hitting myself on the head for doing that. =P Ended up getting a 9Pro, and then the apex kit and all that anyway.
bhurte
I was able to pick one up from Bud's online two weeks ago. I was signed up for a notification when they came back in stock, but actually just randomly looked one evening and they were in stock(didn't stay that way long) by the time i got my shipping notification they were out of stock again. Looks like I lucked out.

Sin-ster
I just found one yesterday at a semi-local Cabela's, of all places. I would suggest if you have one in the area to go in and see what they can get from elsewhere in the country. If there's not one local, put in a phone call. They are happy to ship and do FFL transfers, from what I've heard in the past. Those from MidValley's link must not have been up very long, and I imagine they won't stay there! EDIT to add-- The top one is already sold, haha. Edited November 1, 2011 by Sin-ster
Mustang684
Kittery Trading Post, Kittery Maine has two new Pro 9's in stock. Go to www.ktp.com and access the "shop the backroom" link to see the new stock.

wsurface
I located 2 NIB M&P Pro 9's with 5 inch barrels at Kittery Trading Post in Maine. One of them is on its way to me now for $640 shipped. They still have one left, so act quickly. They were a pleasure to deal with as well.
Mustang684
They just added that search the backroom link so us Mainers don't have to drive down there and drool on the showcases. They had the Pro 40's when they were impossible to find anywhere.
PacMan
Got one of these yesterday. RSR had a special run made for them. From what I heard it has the Apex hard sear already installed, have not pulled apart to confirm but the trigger is sweet and much more positive reset. TimMTP
Bud's has some Pro's. I ordered a .40 Pro Monday and it looks like it arrives today.
MGMorden
Just a heads up - I must have forgotten about it but I had a "Stockwatch" added for a 9 Pro at Davidsons. Got an email today saying they have them in stock. I have already gotten a 9L a good while back so I don't need one myself, but I figured I'd mention it. Sin-ster
They are slowly coming back into the market. A couple of the watches I had placed activated in the past couple of days. I sent the one I bought off to Dan for trigger work this morning.
mcracco
The 9PRO I had on order since last May with my local gun shop cam in last week so I am a happy camper. Finally. I do see a 9L for sale on M&P Forum. Curious lack of detail in the post. I was tempted but the Pro came in.

kreativecid
Oak Hill has two tone and all black 9 Pros for $560. Add 3% if paying by CC and then toss in shipping of $25. http://www.oakhillenterprises.com/ItemDetails/746232747/Smith_Wesson_M_P_Pro_9mm_NE.htm

kreativecid
Yep, pretty nice: http://www.oakhillenterprises.com/ItemDetails/751398563/Smith_Wesson_M_P_2_Tone_Pro_Series_9mm_NE.htm Interesting how there is a used M&P 9Pro in the classifieds for $600 and there seems to be interest. The Pro price has come down quite a bit since the new xdm 5.25.
