Doggorloader
I like it when people/organizations have guts enough to challenge laws that are costly and have no real contribution to public safety. http://www.democratandchronicle.com/news/0...6M3G_news.shtml Two of my handguns were purchased new and came with small sealed coin envelopes with two shell casings fired by the manufacture before shipping to be placed in the state database. The gun dealer just about flipped when I wanted to open them and look. The law is flawed and does little to solve crime. I think that replacing the barrel on either would change the ballistic imprint anyway. A thumbs up to the Camillus Sportsman's Club and the Yates County Federation of Conservation Clubs for trying to correct the situation. JD45
Nice to see somebody fighting it. My question is, since Bal. fingerprinting is nothing but pure registration, could we get some names of manufacturers that are taking part in this crap? My local gunshop guy casually said "they all are". I sure as hell don't want to buy a new pistol from the ones taking part in this.
Chuck D
As a fellow Upstate New Yorker, I'm grateful to all whom brought this lawsuit. With the budget in this State as bad as it is...
